Training Information

Training workshops are run with various Government and Non - Government organisations; School Education, Early Childhood Services, NSW Police, Department of Community Services, Residential Care Workers, Womens Service/Refuges, Health Professionals and various other community based groups.

Our one day training workshop focus on the background and purpose of the Protective Behaviours Program and primarily looks at methods of implementation of the Themes, Core Concepts and Strategies.

In addition to our one day training we can provide a second day which can concentrate on child protection issues or if requested look further at implementation strategies.

The one day Workshop content is flexible in design to accommodate the specific needs of the group.

    One day Workshop:

$880 (incl GST) at your venue: includes trainer and travel cost.

• Country (out of Sydney Metro):

As above, plus any additional travel and accommodation costs

    Two day Workshop:

• Sydney / Metro:

$1400 (incl GST) at your venue - includes trainer and travel costs

• Country (out of Sydney Metro):

As above, plus any additional travel and accommodation costs

     Overviews:

Overviews are available as an introductory summary of the program at a cost of $250. (incl. GST) These run for approximately 1-2 hours and introduce the Protective Behaviours Concepts.


    Cancellation Fee:

A cancellation fee will be incurred by groups cancelling a confirmed workshop less than 2 weeks prior to the workshop date.

    Further Training:

In order to formally train other adults to use the program, you are required to be accredited as a PB Trainer. This means completion of a 5 day workshop and a formal accreditation process with the Consultancy Group of NSW.
